Parlapanides brothers created and executive produced the animated series BLOOD OF ZEUS (AKA GODS & HEROES) for Netflix. The show premiered on Netflix on October 27th, 2020 and stars Jason O’Mara (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Mamie Gummer (True Detective), Derek Phillips (Friday Night Lights), Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley), Jessica Henwick (Matrix 4), Melina Kanakaredes (The Resident), Claudia Christian (Babylon 5), and Elias Toufexis (The Expanse).
They previously wrote, directed and produced the indie dramedy EVERYTHING FOR A REASON, which premiered at the AFI International Film Festival and was acquired for distribution by The Shooting Gallery (SLING BLADE, YOU CAN COUNT ON ME). In 2017, Netflix released their adaptation of the best-selling manga, DEATH NOTE, directed by Adam Wingard (THE GUEST). The film stars William Dafoe (PLATOON), Nat Wolf (PAPER TOWNS) and LaKeith Stanfield (ATLANTA). It became the most viewed Netflix Original production in the company’s history when it was released.

They also have three original features in various stages of development. Their spec script, KILLINGER, will be produced by Derek Kolstad (JOHN WICK 1,2,3) and BAFTA Award winning producer Jay Van Hoy (BEGINNERS, THE WITCH). Their script, SUMMER RENTAL, will be produced by Nic Izzi and Spirit Award Nominated producer Rose Ganguzza. Lastly, their heist feature, LIVE BET, is currently in development at Netflix.
